The following information outlines the Attendee Registration terms and conditions for events organized by The EA Project Ltd, including payment and cancellation policies.
- By registering for and/or attending the Event (as defined below), participants are bound by, and comply with, these Terms and Conditions. It is the individual’s responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions.
- For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the “Event” means any forum, plenary session, summit, networking session, discussion session, virtual event, awards dinner and/or presentation, outdoors event, the details of which are as confirmed in the registration process between the participant and The EA Project Ltd.
- In order to attend the event, participants must pay the relevant Registration fee in full – or have paid in full on their behalf – immediately upon confirmation or by the Event Date. Confirmation by The EA Project Ltd of registration for the Event forms a binding commitment for payment of the full relevant registration fee by the individual participant.
- If an invoice is requested, payment will be required by no later than the Event Date. If payment is not received before then, The EA Project Ltd reserves the right to cancel the registration without notice. Payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer.
- Discount Policy. The EA Project Ltd does provide some official discounts from the prevailing standard published rates (as per the registration webpage). Only one discount type/code can ever be applied against published standard rates. The EA Project Ltd reserves the right to reject any registrations where a double-discount is deemed to have been applied.
- Online/virtual events refunds are not available. Should you not be able to attend the single event you registered for, The EA Project Ltd will allow a substitute registrant.
- No refunds will be issued for an EA Project Event that is changed, cancelled or delayed through no fault of The EA Project Ltd, including but not limited to third party schedule changes or travel delays, fire, flood, labor disputes, natural disasters, acts of God, health-related emergencies, civil disorders, riots, insurrections, work stoppages, slowdowns or disputes, or other similar events. In these cases, attendees will not be entitled to any refund or to claim for any loss or damage.
- Tickets can be transferred to colleagues. A request to transfer a participant’s confirmed registration to a colleague should be made by giving written notice via email to contact@the-eaproject.com. The EA Project Ltd reserves the right to deny a request for such a substitution, but it will not unreasonably do so.
- Photographs and/or filming will be taken at the Event, which may be used in post Event publicity and in future marketing materials. By completing registration, the participant consents to the official photographer and/or videographer taking such photographs and/or video, which may feature the participant, and the use of such photographs and/or video as described. If the participant does not want his/her photograph to be taken and/or does not want to be filmed, The EA Project Ltd must be notified prior to the Event.
- The views expressed by any speaker at the Event are representative of the speaker’s own opinions and cannot in any way be attributed to The EA Project Ltd. The EA Project Ltd disclaims any liability for views expressed by any speaker at the Event.
- The EA Project Ltd reserves the right to reject a ticket sale or refuse entry if it is deemed that the potential attendee would in some way be an inappropriate delegate, in which case a full refund will be given if a ticket has been purchased. In the event of inappropriate behavior by any individual in the view of The EA Project Ltd or the Event venue operator, they may be refused entry or asked to leave and excluded from the Event without refund or compensation.
- The details of the Event shown in any material supplied by The EA Project Ltd to the participant are correct at the time of printing/publishing, but the participant shall be responsible for checking with The EA Project Ltd that no alterations have been made.
- The Circular Society Network – matchmaking events: What happens if I’m not engaged or don’t honor my registration to an event To build this value around our matchmaking concept, we need to be able to guarantee a minimum rate of participation at our events. We don’t want to create another network where people can just take without giving back a minimum. This will not serve yourself, nor the community. We want to accelerate our transformation, no be slowed down. We value our members time and the speakers who take time to share their work with you. Therefore, we have established a system to monitor our members engagement and take action when needed:
- 1 registration not honored: 1 warning
- 2 registrations not honored: 1 yellow card
- 3 registrations not honored: removal of your membership
- If you listen to the speakers but do not participate to our networking sessions, your registration will also be considered not honored.
- Please also note that if you do not engage with our emails on a regular basis, or if you don’t take action to remove them from your spams and add us to your contacts, our CRM will automatically remove you from our mailing list, even if you are a member. Please make sure you open them and they arrive in your focused mailbox. The EA Project is not responsible for the way members manage their communications and take advantage of their membership benefits. This is to protect our e-reputation and to avoid spamming you if you are not that interested. This will result in you not being informed about future opportunities and benefits related to your membership.
- Pitched Solutions or presentations promoted by The CSN members are submitted to approval by The EA Project and must be included in members plan.
